Accelerated Resolution Therapy (often referred to as ART) is an evidence-based form of psychotherapy that utilizes back and forth eye movements to help clients address common problems such as depression, anxiety, phobias, and Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD). In experiencing ART, you may find that you connect pieces of information that are already stored in your memory to help you resolve your issues. The brain, while focused on a problem and concurrently using eye movements, makes new connections with a person's strengths and problem-solving abilities.
What are the benefits?
You are in control of the session with the therapist guiding the process. You don't even have to talk about your traumatic experiences with the therapist. No homework outside of the session. The entire treatment is very brief in 1-5 sessions depending on the complexity of the issue.
Rates
1st 90-minute session at $200
If additional sessions are needed or requested, a fee of $100 per session will be collected.
NOTE: ART sessions are only available as self-pay sessions as insurance companies will not pay for this service.
